Felipe Melo, known to Juventus fans as "Crazy Melo" and in Turkey as "Pitbull" received a financially fantastic offer from CSKA Moscow. After Melo previously refused Spartak Moscow's offer it is believed this new offer from CSKA will not be refused. It is expected Melo will transfer to Russia in a matter of days. No details of this operation are known at the time but stay tuned as more news will come during next week.

The brazilian midfielder expressed his wish to return to Galatasaray, Turkey, where he played last season on loan from Juventus and is widely acclaimed as an idol. Melo scored 12 goals in 35 matches and went to earn a spot in the TOP 11 of the turkish league. Galatasaray have presented Juventus an offer in the 7-9 million € range.

Residuo: Current amortized player's value: Example: a player has been bought for 25.000.000 € and has signed a 5 year contract. His annual amortization rate is the price paid for the player divided the length of his contract (25.000.000 €/5 years) and that equals 5.000.000 € per year. After 2 years of contract the player's accounting worth is 15.000.000 €; if the club sells him below that price the club makes an financial loss (minusvalenza), anything above that is a financial gain (plusvalenza).
Stipendio lordo: Gross salary. Taxes in Italy for wages amount to 100% of net wages. To calculate the net salary of a player just divide this amount by 2.
Quota amm.to: Annual amortization of a player. It is calculated by dividing the price paid for the player by the years of contract given to the player.
Totale: The sum of Stipendio lordo+Quota amm.to. Gross salary+annual amortization. This is the most important figure in the table because it shows the total yearly expenditure for the player.
It is interesting to note that Juventus can free around 45.000.000 € just by selling the players they don't count on anymore. (Melo, Krasić, Motta, Martinez, Elia, Ziegler, Iaquinta).
Even if Juventus sent them away as a gift without making a dime it would still be a valuable financial operation.

Giovinco who has recently been repurchased by Juventus for 22 million € might actually stay this season in bianconero. Giovinco has been offered both to Chelsea for Fernando Torres and Napoli for Edinson Cavani. If operations Torres or Cavani fail Giovinco will stay and play at Juventus even though the Old Lady from Turin initially wanted to use him exclusively as exchange material.

Bruno Alves is at the moment closest to Juventus. Let's refresh our memory and bring back Antonio Conte's central defender "shopping list". The players are listed in order of preference:
- Andrea Ranocchia (Inter)
- Angelo Ogbonna (Torino)
- Bruno Alves (Zenit St. Petersburg)
Now, Juventus have tried to convince Inter to sell their 18.000.000 € investment at least three times. Every time the response given was "The player is not for sale." At the moment there is no realistic possibility to acquire Andrea Ranocchia.
As far as Angelo Ogbonna is concerned, the player would love to be at Conte's disposal but his always "friendly" club, at least when Juventus is involved, Torino values him an astonishing 18.000.000 €! For a player that played in Serie B, no matter how talented he might be, this is a crazy valutation.
Bearing in mind these two stories let's explain the operation "Bruno Alves". The player might move to Italy as part of an exchange with serbian winger Miloš Krasić. The russians Zenit are in favor of this operation and now all we have to do is wait for the sides to agree on the details.

Destro fully fits with Juventus' disclosed transfer policy of bringing 2 TOP players and one youngster with a bright future in the attack department. Destro fills the latter spot.
The signing of Destro confirms even more the likely departures of Matri and Quagliarella.

It apppears the russians from Zenit St. Petersburg are on a shopping spree in Italy. As I previously reported their interest in taking in serbian winger Miloš Krasić for defender Bruno Alves but it seems their interest is also focused on Simone Pepe.
Zenit's manager Luciano Spalletti was always a fan of the side attacker from Rome and wants him in his team. As far as Juventus and Antonio Conte are concerned selling Pepe would mean the complete abandoning of the 4-3-3 module as Pepe is the only natural interpreter in the squad.

Juventus and the russians Zenit St.Petersburg are conducting talks about exchanging winger Miloš Krasić and portuguese central defender Bruno Alves.
The two clubs have had previous talks last summer when they reached the agreement to exchange Simone Pepe and Leonardo Bonucci with Bruno Alves and money. A last minute refusal by Bonucci to transfer to Russia has cancelled the entire deal. Nowadays the negotiations have recommenced but with the inclusion of the serbian winger.
As I wrote before in this article, Bruno Alves is highly positioned on manager Antonio Conte's shopping list.

Antonio Conte's acquisition list in order of priorities looks like this:

Why the fuck is Ranocchia even on this list is a mind boggling question. Why he is on TOP of the list is probably a matter best dealt by psychology professionals.
Leaving aside Conte's mind we Juventini now know what we can expect from the marker concerning the central defender position. The main caracteristic Conte wants for this position is good ball handling and passing, something only Leonardo Bonucci possesses, so what the fuck is Ranocchia doing on this list anyway?
